This advanced training gives the Pandit the title “Maharishi Pandit” and provides employment opportunities through our Nepal Foundations. Inaddition, theNMFVCplanstoestablishseven regional campuses (to be built) to give Pandits the opportunity to continue their Vedic Studies and gain advanced degrees. These campuses, in the seven provinces of Nepal, will offer BA, MA, and PhD degrees in the Vedic Science discipline of the Pandit’s choice. Higher de- grees will afford more employment opportuni- ties. Since the building of these campuses will take time, our Foundation has established an affiliation with Nepal Sanskrit University so the Pandits can advance their Sanskrit skills. After Pandits complete their advanced degrees and the comprehensive training as a Maharishi Pandit, employment will be available through Maharishi’s global organizations, which offer Vedic Recitation and Yagya services through- out the world. This international network will provide economic opportunities to the Gurukuls that will strengthen and improve the quality of life throughout rural villages in Nepal while simultaneously preserving the unique Vedic cultural heritage.
